CHARLIE MYERS, SENSEI
Myers Sensei started the Martial Arts over 20 years ago under Sensei "Dr. Rock" Lewis, which gave him the opportunity to learn karate in a unique way. Since then he has trained and taught consistently and has done alot to spread the benefits of martial arts to everyone around. He has taught Hundreds of men, women and children including students with ADHD and those who were mental and or physically impaired. Over the years he has implemented numerous of different programs in the karate program such as tae-bo, pilates, weight training, positive reinforcement parties and many of other fun BUT helpful programs. Sensei also serves as a mentor to students and non-students alike and has helped with topics such as bullying, divorce, stealing, lying, behavior, molesting, and domestic violence. He has also been invited to participate in many career fairs. Sensei has done alot for his students outside of martial arts. We are always having events where the kids have fun, learn or even both. Everything from seminars, clinics, camps and parties are apart of our program. Some are annual events that we've been doing for years such as our "back to school giveaway bash" and "secret santa". Sensei Myers has participated in many tournaments and demonstrations, but his main pride and joy are his students. They have won many trophies at tournaments and have put on wonderful demonstrations in the following places: -
